Rail Fares to Go Up - 14th August 2012
Rail fares to increase again from January next year, prices may rise more than the rate of double inflation.
Fares in England are due to go up inflation rate plus 3%.
The reason for the increase according to the railway providers is for investment going forward but lets face it they have been saying that since 1920! The fact is there never any seats, the design of the modern trains never accounted for suitcases and delays are frequent, any other business in operation would not be able to get away with the disgraceful service.
The real companies really need to get their sorry backsides into gear and take a long hard look at what they are offering the consumer, basicall no value for money at all.
